Buffalo Wild Wings has a robust gift card program that has seen 60% growth in the time I've been involved in the design and program management sides of the business. From successful owned channel promotions to seamless web/app redemption, I've worked to make sure all aspects of the in-restaurant and online program are brand relevant, customer-centered and competitive in the restaurant space.
To differentiate from gift card bonus offers at competitors, I worked cross-functionally to bring back Buffalo Wild Wings' Blazin' Bonus sweepstakes promotion, which drove +16% sales YOY. I collaborated with internal creative partners on gift card and POP design, outside counsel to develop sweepstakes terms and conditions and vendor PrizeLogic to establish a contract and build out a microsite to uphold alternate method of entry requirements.
The visual identity at Buffalo Wild Wings has been updated multiple times since I began working on the brand. In 2023, Anomaly brought forth a new bold color palette and brought the heat with new graphic elements. I tapped into the design team there to develop new eGift designs and collaborated with the internal design studio to bring the new brand to life.
When Buffalo Wild Wings launched its fast casual adaptation, Buffalo Wild Wings GO, I had the opportunity to develop a new fixture that would prominently display gift cards front and center at the POS. I collaborated with vendor DGS Retail to develop a fixture that was cost-conscious and could also be repurposed for additional concepts at Inspire Brands.
